Scott Cullen, Village Trustee and Co-Chair, Mark Majewski, The Minutes of the February 2, 2006 meeting were accepted as distributed. It was agreed that this topic should be raised with John Steinmetz at the March 2, 2006 meeting. The Meeting was adjourned at 8:40 pm by Co-Chair Scott Cullen. Back to Top

Sue Davis, Secretary Co-Chair Pamela Moore called the meeting to order at Community Profile Review · It is a draft format and a conceptual layout that will be used to market the community. · The information obtained from the survey results will be incorporated into it also. · Comment was made that reviewing the Population Growth Chart that it’s interesting that Pittsford is smaller than Churchville. It’s not the size that makes something economically feasible. · Doug Steward asked if there would be more description of the data. John said yes but that it is best to let people drawn their own conclusions. · Final Format will be landscaped on legal size paper. This makes it a little more unique, easier to read and more user-friendly. On the negative side it is harder to store. March 16 – Publicity April 6 Meeting – Vision and Goals April 20 Meeting – fine tune Vision and Goals for workshop April 22 Workshop – possible format: Introduction by local person/persons – Vision and how we get there – What Do You Want/Where Do You Want It? Comments to be filled out by participants Land use discussion Break into Groups Lunch – quick count and order pizza After lunch, convene back into groups and with help of a facilitator begin to work on land use maps. Conclusion – have each group present findings Reconcile information obtained from all the groups Will be and event that people can come and go from and there are pros and cons as to whether to advertise it this way. A detailed agenda will be available for the committee to review before the workshop. Could advertise a specific agenda but gets lengthy. John recommends that the committee focus more on what needs to be accomplished rather than a detailed agenda. · Doug was concerned that people would want to know why the questions they wrote weren’t answered. Lyle Warren, Representative, Sue Davis, Secretary · Fire Department portable sign – event will be advertised in early April · Flyers – Flyers will be distributed at Churches, included with Village Utility Billing, included in the Town Newsletter and available at the Library. · Sue to send out flyers on April 10th to all Village Boards and legislators via email. · Possibility of stenciling signs – Scott to work on cost and ask Doug Steward about doing this. · Website – Veronica to use html version and put on website. · Posters for Town/Village Halls – Veronica to do this. · Invitations – Pamela Moore to send a letter inviting community groups and community leaders – it will be signed by both her and Scott. · Businesses – Scott to get flyers out to the businesses. ·
· Suburban News –shrink existing flyer be used in the “Churchville Section” ·
Veronica to update “Publicity Worksheet” Other Business – Scott will request that a copy of the Charrette Minutes be sent to the Comp Plan Committee.

Amanda Pitcher, Deputy Town Clerk 2, Town of Co-Chair Scott Cullen called the meeting to order at 7:36 PM Scott Cullen made a motion that the minutes of the May 4, 2006 meeting be approved. Motion passed unanimously. · Ms. Moore asked Ms. Pitcher to give Mr. Becker a copy of minutes from each meeting in his mailbox because he does not have an e-mail address. · Ms. Pitcher also volunteered to have a few copies of the last meeting at each current meeting for other members or guests that did not receive one.

Page 2: · Mr. Casey stated that he liked phrase C. Mr. Steinmetz asked if it was too bold and Mr. Casey said no. · Some discussion was had regarding phrases E & G. · Discussion was had regarding neighborhood design issue vs. road design issue. · Making traditional roads and making it less convenient to cut through neighborhoods. · Mr. Casey referred to phrase I “Improve appearance and aesthetic appeal of housing stock and residential properties” he would like to add some reference to encouraging and keeping the historical value. · Ms. Moore stated that this subject was mentioned and critiqued by many. · Mr. Steinmetz stated he would play around with the subject of historical preservation. The slideshow also showed that this community felt that greenbelt and separation was very desirable. Green space was the preference. This information all reinforced the beginning comments from the original surveys.
