Planned Town Roadwork for 2011
The following town roads are scheduled for maintenance during the summer of 2011.
Stearns Road – Late July, early August -- True and Level
Percy Road – Early to mid August -- Remove and replace cross culvert
Parish Road – Week of July 12th -- In-place recycle with chip seal late August
Leibeck Road – Late June -- Cross culvert pipe repair
Appletree Road – Late August - early September -- Remove and replace cross culvert
County Roadwork for 2011
I am working with Monroe County DOT on significant County Road projects for this summer; Riga Highway Department has contracted with the County for the following projects.
Malloch Road - Late August -- Chip seal
Bridgeman Road - Mid July -- Widen with mill and fill
Bromley Road - Mostly done -- True and level with shoulder improvements
Griffin Road (Rt. 36 to Palmer - Late July -- True and level with chip seal in 2012
Town Parks and Pavilions - 2011
The Maher Lodge has a new epoxy floor.
The new basketball facility is now open for use at Sanford Road Park.
Baseball field improvements have been made to the Sanford Road Upper Baseball field.
The Buffalo Road Pavilion has a new gas fireplace insert.
Note! The outside restrooms at both facilities are now unlocked and available at all times.
County Park Work - 2011
We are installing drainage at the new soccer field in Churchville Park.
We have started restoration and resurfacing the Tennis Court at Churchville Park.
