Contract 1 Contractor: Blue Heron Construction, LLC
Ø Blue Heron has completed the installation of all water main service associated with Contract 1 and all areas within that Contract have been placed into service by the MCWA.
Ø Blue Heron will be completing punch list items in the spring 2012 to complete any touch up work, correct settlement problems and finalize all restoration work.
Contract 2 Contractor: Highlander Construction, Inc.
Ø Highlander Construction has completed the restoration of all surfaces (lawn and filled areas, driveways, road crossings, etc.) and will complete additional restoration items as they come up in the spring of 2012.
Contract 3 Contractor: Morsch Pipeline, Inc.
Ø Morsch Pipeline has completed the installation of all water mains and water services within their Contract responsibilities and all areas within their Contract have been placed into service by MCWA.
Ø Morsch Pipeline has completed punch list items this fall and will return in the spring 2012 to complete any touch up work, correct settlement problems and finalize all restoration work.
Contract 4 Contractor: Blue Heron Construction, LLC
Ø Blue Heron has completed the installation of all water mains and water services within their Contract responsibilities and all areas within their Contract have been placed into service by MCWA.
Ø Blue Heron will return in the spring 2012 to complete the restoration of lawns, correct any settlement that occurs over the winter and finalize all restoration work.
Contract 5 Contractor: Randsco Pipeline, Inc.
Ø Randsco Pipeline has completed the installation of all water main services within their Contract 5 area, and all areas within Contract have been placed into service by the MCWA.
Ø Randsco Pipeline has completed the restoration of surfaces along their entire project area, and will return in the spring of 2012 to touch up work, correct settlement problems and finalize all restoration work, including placing the top asphalt coat on Park Road Extension.
Contract 6 Contractor: Pilon Construction Company, Inc.
Ø Pilon Construction has completed the installation of water main and water services in all areas of their Contract responsibilities and all areas within their Contract have been placed into service by the MCWA.
Ø Final restoration of surfaces will occur in the spring 2012.
Contract 7 Contractor: Angelica Boring Company, Inc.
Ø A Pre-Construction Meeting for Contract 7 will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 8:30 AM at the Riga Town Hall with the CSX Field Personnel.
Ø Angelia Boring and Blue Heron Construction (Sub-contractor) for Contract 7 will begin mobilization on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Contract 8 Bunny Run Water Main
Ø Bunny Run has been submitted to the agencies for approvals on December 27, 2011.
Ø We anticipate putting that project out for bids in February 2012.
Ø We request that you pass a resolution “Authorizing Contract 8 for Bids” once approvals have been granted by the agencies.
Ø We will include two (2) water flushing stations in that bid for dead end water mains in Contract 5 that are experiencing low chlorine levels.
